Chat Noir Design Hotel

68 Bd de Clichy, 75018 Paris, France

Hotel description

Taking its name from the famous cabaret, the Chat Noir Design Hotel is decked out in red and black, with images of the black cat throughout. Each floor is dedicated to a different writer or poet from the cabaret period, reflected in the décor. The rooms are spacious, with modern bathrooms and amenities. The friendly staff will recommend local restaurants and cafes as well as the best attractions in the area.

The hotel is a one-minute walk from Blanche Metro and close to the Place du Tertre (artist’s square), the Moulin Rouge, Basilique du Sacre Coeur, and many other popular sites. A breakfast buffet is available in a separate dining room or ordered to your guestroom.

What we love

  • The view. Book a room on one of the top floors to have a picturesque view over Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
  • The contemporary design. Based on the cabaret of the same name, the hotel is decked in red and black.
  • The rooms. Here you will find guestrooms larger than average in a city full of tiny accommodation!

Great hotel, great location, super friendly staff, nice, spacious and very clean rooms with all comfort. On top of that, a 24/7 typical French Brasserie in the same building, with a nice terrace. As if you are home in Paris! I do come back!!

Tucked into eternally bawdy and occasionally raucous Pigalle. The Hotel Le Chat Noir can be a party central for hens or stags or a quiet respite. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Swanky wine selection. Good value.

Please note that we stayed in the top floor suite and I'm only rating the suite nothing else. Considering the money you need to pay in Paris to get a spacious place and a view the suite on this hotel is a bargain. You get a huge room, amazing bath and shower, quirky design of the room and spectacular views of Paris and Eiffel tower. Location is amazing since is next to iconic moulin rouge which is in monmarte which it's a must see area to see when visiting Paris

Disappointed!! Always ask for the price of what you drink caus they will count double! 1 Coca Cola: 10 euro. 1 glass of wine: 24 euro. Our food was even cheaper!! We were asking for explanation and the answer was: "You asked a coca, but I gave a big one, so double price!!" Profiteers! A warned man is worth two.

I give this hotel a five star rating because the price was good and visiting Paris is very expensive. It is in the Red light district near Moulin rouge which is very cool. Their is a little train across the street that will take you all over the Montmartre district, right to the Sacre Coeur, It's an amazing area 💗 The hotel had an awesome shower lots of water pressure!! The bed was so comfortable and I always have such a hard time sleeping, but not here!! The 10 euro, all you can eat breakfast, was awesome!! Their croissants were light and buttery, perfect with the scrambled eggs and coffee!! And, last but not least the service was excellent!! So friendly 💞 and helpful and our rooms were cleaned perfectly. Their are allot of hotel choices in Paris but this one was perfect and we had a wonderful time.
